Charles Gomes is a dedicated educator and entrepreneur, serving as the owner of Tutor Doctor Cary Holly Springs. His current pursuit follows a distinguished 15-year career in finance, which spanned roles on Wall Street and in Commercial Banking within North Carolina’s Triangle region. Since 2018, Charles has successfully channeled his extensive professional experience and passion into the field of education.

A truly global citizen, Charles’s background is marked by a diverse international education and life journey. Born in Manama, Bahrain, he completed his early schooling in Dhaka, Bangladesh (St. Joseph’s High School). He subsequently moved to London, where he earned a high school qualification and a Diploma in Electronics Engineering and Computer Science from Lambeth College. Charles continued his academic career in the United States, initially attending National American University on a soccer scholarship, and later completing his undergraduate degree in Marketing at Edinboro University. He holds an MBA with a specialization in Accounting and Finance from Florida Tech.

As a passionate community member and active entrepreneur, Charles is deeply invested in the local area, operating several small businesses within the community. His commitment to service extends to coaching youth soccer since 2010 and active involvement in both adult and youth music programs. His drive at Tutor Doctor is fueled by a genuine desire to support families and promote educational excellence.

Charles currently resides in Wake Forest, NC, with his wife and two children.
